The Daland Swim School Masters Coaches

Jeff Moxie – Master's Coach.

Coach Jeff started swimming at the age of six, practicing with several different groups, clubs and YMCA teams. During high school, he was consistently ranked in the top six in New York state. A two-time college All-American, Jeff coached a USA Swimming program for five years while also coaching a high school team which produced several state ranked swimmers.

Jeff is active in masters swimming, not just as a team member, but also working with the local and national organizations. He has competed in four Masters World Championships and participated in several United States Masters Swimming (USMS) Nationals. Most recently, Jeff finished second in his age group for the One-Hour Swim National Championship. He is currently the Chair of the Finance Committee for USMS.

Kevin Lane – Master's Coach.

Kevin has been a masters swimmer for over 20 years. He has served as an assistant Masters coach for Southwest Masters and SCAQ.

As a seven year-old, Kevin began competing in age group swimming, and went on to hold several Connecticut state records. He also competed in the National YMCA Swimming Championships.

Kevin served as the captain of his collegiate swim team at Southern Connecticut State University, a perennial top 10 Division II squad. Kevin competed in the Division II collegiate championships.

As a Master’s swimmer, Kevin was a Masters National champion in the One Mile Open Water and One Hour Relay.
