
Teams
From age 5 through18, we have an ideal group for your swimmer.
Swimming is a competitive sport and a life-long activity that contributes to health and fitness. Our team is divided into separate squads to address both the development and commitment of your swimmer. Since kids are involved in many other activities, we offer both once-per-week and multiple-times-per-week options to help parents balance their children's schedules and commitments. And no volunteer hours or fundraising requirements!
Daland Swim Team is a member USA Swimming, apart of our Local Swim Conference (LSC) Southern California Swimming and is in the Coastal Committee. All swimmers on The Daland Swim Team must be registered with USA Swimming through Commit Swim before participating in practice. You will receive emailed instructions once you sign up for team.
Swim - Stronger - Faster - Smarter
We focus on building confidence through recognition of individual improvements in practice and race times, rather than place finish. An emphasis on stroke technique and a gradual increase in commitment to the sport will foster a love for swimming, while also minimizing burnout. We prepare our athletes for high school swimming. Often, we have a coach in the water to assist with individual stroke corrections. Our program includes dryland training to build core strength and increase flexibility. Come for a TRY-OUT and see which group is the best fit for your swimmer. Try-outs are Monday-Friday 4:00pm or Saturday 8:30am. call for an appointment (805) 495-5210

INTRO SQUAD (45 min)
Introduction to a structured workout, swim the full length of the teaching pool in warm water. Must be able to swim freestyle and backstroke. Otter level and up: Ages 5-8
Monday - Friday: 6:45 to 7:30 pm
1 x a week $78 per month
2 x a week $107 per month
3 x a week $122 per month

PRE-COMP SQUAD (45 min)
Introduction to competitive swimming, swim the full length of the 25-yard competition pool. Must be able to swim 25 yards freestyle, backstroke, butterfly, and breaststroke. Tigers shark level and up: Ages 6-10
Monday - Friday: 3:45 to 4:30 pm
1 x a week $88 per month
2 x a week $110 per month
3 x a week $132 per month

BRONZE SQUAD I & II (45 min)
An emphasis on stroke technique, flip turns, and racing starts swimming one length at a time. Must be able to swim 25 yards of all 4 strokes. Whale Level and up: Ages 7-12
B I : Monday - Friday: 3:45 to 4:30 pm
B II: Monday - Friday: 5:30 to 6:15 pm
1 x a week $98 per month
2 x a week $120 per month
3 x a week $142 per month

SILVER SQUAD I & II (1 hour)
Interval training, stroke drills, conditioning, swimming 50 yard sets and higher. Dryland Strength and conditioning. Must be able to swim 50 yards of all 4 strokes. Tiger Shark Level and up: Ages 7-14
S I : Monday - Friday: 4:30 to 5:30 pm
S II : Monday - Friday: 5:15 to 6:15 pm
Saturday & Sunday 2:00-3:00 pm
1 x a week $ 108 per month
2 x a week $130 per month
3 x a week $ 152 per month

HIGH SCHOOL CONDITIONING SQUAD (1 hour)
Designed for swimmers preparing for high school swim season or swimmers who want additional training. Stroke technique, conditioning, flip turns, and racing starts. Must be able to swim 25 yards freestyle and backstroke. Ages 13-18
Monday through Friday: 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm
Saturday: 7:00-8:30am
up to 4 x a week $ 114 per month

GOLD SQUAD (1.5 hour)
Advanced level, Jr. Olympic qualifiers, longer practice time, goal setting, and more advanced drills. Longer dryland conditioning and strength training. Swimmers must compete in USA swimming swim meets. Ages 9-16 are defined by ability.
Monday - Friday: 4:00 to 5:30 pm | Saturdays: 7:00 to 8:30 am (1.5 hour)
3 x a week: $175 per month
5 x a week: $195 per month
JUNIOR SQUAD (1 hour 45 minutes)
The NEXT level team, Jr. Olympians, longer practice time, goal setting, and more advanced drills. Dynamic Dryland conditioning and strength with weight training. Swimmers must compete in USA swimming swim meets. Ages 11-16 are defined by ability.
Monday - Friday: 4:45 to 6:30 pm | Saturdays: 6:30 to 8:30 am (2 hour)
5 x a week: $202 per month

SENIOR SQUAD (2.15 hour)
Top-level squad, participate in USA Swimming Senior Race series, longer practice time, goal setting, and more advanced drills. Longer dryland conditioning and strength training. Swimmers must compete in USA swimming swim meets. Ages 12-18 are defined by ability.
Monday - Friday: 5:45 to 8:00 pm | Saturday: 6:30 to 8:30 am (2 hour &15 min)
6 x per week: $212 per month

MASTERS- ADULT SWIM TEAM
Open to the beginner swimmer to the triathlete. Coached work-outs average 2,200-3,000 yards. Work on stroke technique and conditioning. Practices are sectioned with different speed intervals so you are challenged at any ability.
Monday - Friday: 5:30 to 6:30 am (1 hour)
3 x a week: $68 per month
5 x a week: $98 per month
